An agreement was signed on 19 April, 2012, stating that three French operators will be part of the project led by the CNRS: Couperin (University Consortium for digital publications) – which the AUP Library is a part of, ABES (Higher Education Bibliographic Agency) and Lorraine University.
The ambition is to guarantee equality of access to knowledge by building a digital library of scientific archives to the highest international standards available to every higher education institution, laboratory or research center.
We are thus delighted to announce that the AUP Library will soon benefit from the access to all the resources that have been negotiated so far (see below-mentioned titles). Access to other resources is continuously being negotiated.
AUP Librarians are currently working on the best way to make all these resources accessible to faculty and students, and we will tell you more very soon!
The second part of the ISTEX project will consist of developing a digital platform, that will bring onto one single interface numerous resources currently hosted by multiple publishers. The tool will also include valuable extra services: data extraction and representation, data mining, production of summaries or terminological corpuses, etc.
