My Library Account with Primo
With Primo you can access your Library account. This is where you can have an overview of your current loans, when they are due and renew them, see the availability of your requests (ILL), and finally see if you have fines.
How to access your Library Account.

2. Log into your account
Once you are in Primo, on the top right corner you can see login. Click on it and you will be then redirected to the AUP login. Fill out with your AUP credentials.
3. Library Card
Back to Primo, you will now see your name showing on the top right corner. Click on it and select Library Card.
4. Library account overview
You will have an overview of your library account, meaning the current loans, requests, fines and fees, messages from the Library and your personal details.
5. Loan and Renew items
If you click Loans, you will see the items checked-out on your account and their due dates.
This is where you can renew your items.
Here you have 3 items:
– The first one is an Interlibrary Loan (ILL). You can see it when the pick up location says “Resource Sharing”. You can’t renew your loan automatically, because it doesn’t depend on us. But you can send your request to email@example.com.
– The second item is a regular item. As you can see the renew button is available. Important: If you pass the due date the button won’t be available anymore. You will have to return the book to the Library.
– The third and last item is, as you can see in the pick up location (second and third line), a book from reserves. It is already overdue, meaning you will have fines for not returning it on time. The materials on reserves have specific loan policies.
The request tab is informing you about the availability of a past request you sent.
It concerns any ILL or print book that weren’t available at the time.
For example here, a book that wasn’t available at the time you were at the library is now waiting for you at the Navigation Desk.
7. Fines + Fees
This tab will show where the fines are coming from.
Important: If you have a total of 3 euros at the minimum, you won’t be able to check-out another library item. A payment will have to be done. Because of the COVID situation, the payment is automatically done on your student account. If you have any problem please contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
8. Blocks + Messages
This tab lists messages sent directly from the Library.
Any change on your library account will automatically send an email to your AUP email address.
